The Biggest rendition of future of Indian Engineering brilliance is prepared to sport ‘Smart Engineering’ for the third time in Chennai over 14-16 March, 2019 with Chennai as the Host State!

IESS, with its unique concept is aimed at reducing dependence on traditional markets, develop domestic markets, forge partnerships and joint ventures, strengthen commercial relations and accelerate trade between India and the world. Organised by EEPC India under the aegis of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, IESS has created a platform for exporters of engineering products and services to build business contacts with leading importers, buyers, dealers, distributors and wholesalers of engineering products internationally. Another major objective is to highlight India as the Technology Hub for the manufacturing industry and for outsourcing wide range of high quality engineering items at very competitive rates.

Keeping ‘Make in India’, ‘Brand India Engineering’ and ‘Technology Drive’ of Union Ministry of Commerce and Industry, EEPC India has chosen -‘Subcontracting’, ‘Industrial & Electrical Machinery’, ‘Future Factory’ and ‘Innovation & Technology’ as the 4 broad product verticals in IESS VIII.

Future Factory is the latest addition in this edition where we expect ‘Smart Factory Design’ and ‘Industrial Internet of Things’ on display.

EEPC India’s Innovation and Technology Pavilion at IESS is a major confluence of India’s premier R&D Academia such as CSIR Labs, Indian Institute of Technologies (IITs), various niche and multidisciplinary research undertakings under the Government such as DAE, DRDO and ISRO, besides, R&D Institutes under Department of Heavy Industry, Ministry of MSME & Department of Science and Technology and the series of Private R&D Academia, Innovators, Startups and Techno-preneurs.
